PLAYER INFORMATION
How long (approximately) have you been playing World of Warcraft? I've been played Warcraft since just after the Burning Crusade Launch. Due to slow leveling I never fully got the chance to raid before WotLK hit, but done all the raids from there.

How confident would you say you are with the English language? I would consider my English good, as it's my first and only language. Due to suffering from Dyslexia I can sometimes jumble my words, or omit/replace words. I try to clamp down on this as much as I can, however. So It's an uncommon issue.

What experience do you have with roleplaying in the past? I've been roleplaying since I was about eight years old, so I've got about ten years of Active Roleplay under my belt. This includes:

-Dungeons and Dragons (Which I still play)
- Warhammer 40k Roleplay ( Which I gm)
- Warcraft, obviously. I've played a variety of Roles ranging from Street thugs to Advisors, and Scouts to stargazers.

What experience do you have within the World of Warcraft? I've been roleplaying in Warcraft since the day I joined over a host of differant servers. I started on Darkmoon Faire, before jaunting to Argent dawn and then to The Sha'tar.

If you were to join the guild, what would you bring to the strong OOC community the guild shares? I'm a big witty scottish fella with a totally laid-back attitude, cheesy jokes and a mild dislike for people that use text speak.

If you were to join the guild, how often would you be able to play? Well, as I'm currently unemployed that's quite a lot. However I am actively seeking a job, which would cut down my hours. But still most evenings.

If you were to join the guild what would be your priority when online? Roleplay is always my first task, if there's none to be had, I'll make some. Of course if I'm not busy and someone needs a hand, I'm usually the first to jump in.

Why do you wish to join the guild? I've roleplayed alongside the spine before and loved every minute of it. It has such a unique feel and some great characters, I just want to be a part!

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Viraxis Corpserot
Gender: Female

Title (if applicable):
Current Occupation: N/A

Age: Lived to twenty seven as a human - Was raised ten years ago as a Forsaken and a few months ago as a Deathknight.

Race: Technically, I'm an Undead Undead. But I was Human once.

Level:85

In-game Class & Spec':Frost Damage, all the way! Duel-specced in Unholy, but I dont really know how it works.

IC Class:This is where it gets tricky. Due to circumstances arriving from my Characters background, I have two In-game Classes. As Viraxis, I am a Frost-specialised Deathknight, as her counterpart, known only as Demise, She becomes an Unholy minded Toxin specialist.

Hair Colour: Murky Brown
Eye Colour: Balefire Blue
Height: Five foot and eleven Inches

Of the three Forsaken factions the guild represents: The Royal Apothecary Society, The Deathguard and The Deathstalkers. Which do you feel your character would fit in with best and why? I would reason I am most fitted to the Deathguard, as I share their Ideals and reasonings. Demise however probably fills the role of Apothecary more soundly. So I would perhaps dither between the two, given the chance.

How does your character feel about the place of the Forsaken in the Horde? And how does he/she react to other races within the Horde? Viraxis feels that without the Horde, There would be no Forsaken left. She understands that though Unity comes strength. Her counterpart disagree's entirely, believing the Forsaken need only themselves.

How does your character feel about the Wrathgate incident? For once, Both herself and her ghostly companion agree that Wrathgate is a topic best left to thinkers and not warriors. If pushed, She will concede that It was an Interesting point of discussion, and that Neither of them is entirely sure where to stand on the matter.

How does your character feel about the current state of the Horde? Garrosh is a pig-headed freak that does not have the ability to rule a swine-farm, let alone the horde. However, Leadership can come second to standing, and Viraxis grudgingly admits he's doing a better job than she expected.

Family:
I suppose I should mention Demise. Viraxis live-in pain in the neck. As I will go onto describe in more detail when I reach the Character History section.

Character History: Born into a comfortable life as the Daughter of a merchant family, Vira had the best of childhoods, plenty of friends, plenty of money and a large townhouse in the popular city of Stratholme.

This all changed when the Scourge Came. Slaughtering the now older girl where she stood without a seconds rest, rising herself as one of the innumerable scourge in minutes. She was directed freely untill Sylvanas broke free, ripping the Lich King from Vira's mind and filling the gap with her own mind. Vira fougt valiantly against the Scourge untill her death as a hero against the forces of Acherus.

Her raising is a turning point in her life. The Forsaken deathknight raised earlier than Vira, known only as Demise, fought his way to the gates of Icecrown and back while Vira's corpse sat still in his chambers, tomes and inkwells scattered over the room. When he returning, he set about finishing his legacy to the Ebon Blade, a new intonement for summoning the next generation of Ghoul, Semi intelligent half-knights, capable of independant thought, while still under mental domination.

This backfired completely on him, and as he began pouring his willpower into the body of Vira, he found himself unable to plug the drain sucking his life-force away into the now very awake body. As his own frame crumpled and withered, he was pulled soul-first out and left as a floating incarnation of a chattering skull, behind the operational body of Vira, who renamed herself Viraxis in memory of her Vile secret.

That she is nothing more than a clever Ghoul maddens Viraxis, but not like Demise does. His spirit, althought bodyless has potancy left, and he wages a never-ending war to subvert Viraxis' hold over her body and take it for himself. Sometimes he wins though but mostly Viraxis has control.

What skill set could your character bring to the guild? As Viraxis, She brings a calculating and unrelenting Martial prowess to the front of any conflict, weilding her prefared War-hammer or Great-axe with brutal efficiancy. As Demise, it offers a near expect knowledge of Plagues, vemons and toxins, as well as boasting near-immunity to the various hazards, due to prolonged exposure.

How does your character respond to authority? Being, in essance, a Ghoul. Viraxis actually REQUIRES Authority to function. Although capable of free-thought, she gets quite confused and often ends up on the wrong path.

TEST OF ABILITY
Please write a short response (300 - 600 words) discussing one of the statements below, research is allowed but copying is not, you are encouraged to add your own thoughts and theories to the answer.

The Lich King is dead. What now?

Some say that with the Lich King gone, the Forsaken now have no meaning to exist, no goal to drive for? I say this is but a first broken crown on the road to victory!

For years, the Forsaken numbers have withered, hundreds die of battlefields we hold little regard for, yet still numbers dwindle and with the Horde requesting more and more troops for the cause. What can we do? Now with the aid of the Valkyr, we have the ability to make new forsaken, yet the thick-skulled Garrosh denies us this most needed tool! For years, the Orcs have watched us with distain, the Tauren closing on hatred! We are denied these basic thoughts by our own allies.

The Alliance is another story. The Humans kill us on sight, the Dwarves, elves and all the other disgustingly "Noble" races join in because Wrynn whistles. They kill us, scorn us and mock us in equal amounts? I say they die too. Let the broken crowns of the alliance hang on the Queens belt, as Arthas' does. The King is dead, Long Live the Queen!

Hrmph.
Wouldn't mind a little bit more detail on the character story, since some moments seem vague to me. Or at least simplified line of filling in, how and why.
But apart from that, seems fine to me. So if another officer gives you a thumb's up, you'll have to poke one of the officers for IC interview ( Marwonaeth, Anthraxius, Chloè, Manners).

Though do keep in mind my second sentence - would love some clarification there, just to ease off few confuzzling details. Smile

Firstly, Thanks for the Reply!

Although I'm delighted you've given me the first part of the go-ahead, I'm a little dismayed at you not enjoying my application as much as you could have, So If you could help me with clearing up all the fuzzy details, that'd be fantastic. I'm not terrific on the Warcraft 3 lore, having only played it once or twice myself. I done as much research as I could on the subject (Thanks to the G.R.E.A.T method for that.)

To summerise, any help you could offer as guidance to cleaning up my Application would be much appreciated.

The part with Demise and Vira as Death Knights ( both of them at this point? But one being in field, other not?) wasn't really clear to me - did they know each other? How come things happened, as they did? I mean the all transition from being two different people to being in one vessel, so to say?

Ah, I see where I've lost you. Let me pick up in more detail.

Vira was never a true "Deathknight" as such, destined to be the next evolutionary step in the Ressurection of Ghouls as fighting allies. A ghoul is all well and good when you need brainless fodder. But you cant well summon a Deathknight to your aid. So Demise, a fully fledged Ebon Knight at the time, picked Vira's quite long dead corpse from the piles and began to prep her corpse for this grand undertaking. However, What demise failed to note was that while she had been dead a while, her extraordinarly strong Willpower left her entombed within her own bones. As he began pouring Necromantic power into the body, Vira's willpower received an extra-strong dose of wake-up. And as a result she literally beat Demise's mind back out of her own, keeping the flow of power open at the same time by refusing to let the hapless Knight break concentration. In return, she absored the majority of his power as his own body dissolved into dust and goo. As a final act of revenge for trying to raise her not as an equal but as a servant, she ripped his conciousness out into the physical world, which manifested as a grinning, chattering skull. So Vira is essentially a Ghoul 2.0 - Capable of her own thoughts but still requiring a guiding hand. Demise lives on too, constantly trying to reassert his willpower over Viraxis' in an attempt to reclaim a body. Unable to just pick another due to his ties to Virax.

Oh. Alright, that makes it a little bit more clear. Smile Thank you.
As mentioned before, poke any of the officers online for in-game interview, since you've got second yes too.
