| Yes, you read right, yes your suspicion is correct, and yes I have already spoken to those I have been able to reach about this. Time to formalise my thoughts and bring it out to the community!THE SPINE UPRISING Much debated and somewhat controversial is this topic (yoda I am), but I shall now proceed to outline it. I say 'I', it was a plan which was jointly concocted between me and a few others from the guild, whose names I shall include if they want me to. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?This, fiend, is the moment that I've seen as inevitable. This is the herald of a genuinely -evil- guild, not just Spine, red-taped evil, I mean Essence (without getting nostalgic) / batshit-insane evil. Does the Sha'tar have this? Nope! Does it need one? Yes! Why is that? Because, let us be honest - there are way too many pacifist guilds out there, and it's just... Ugly, in my opinion. The server RP is degrading because of the sheer, unwritten conformity that prevails in most guilds as well as random RP. We need evil to have goodness, despite what some individuals (*cough*) would claim. But why us? Why do I propose the Spine should go rogue? Well, I'm not.I'm proposing that the Spine just... Elevates. I propose that, following an incident which has disastrous repercusions for the Spine caused by the undying Queen, we (as the elite bitches) get suspicious of her actual ability, and in the end gives her a big, blatant "NO!", after which we will still act in the best of Forsaken interests... Just not under the Queen's jurisdiction. Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that this is a Isiliosis/Putress wannabe. I give you that, it does appear to be that way; after all we mess up Sylvanas for the betterment of the Forsaken. Which we all want. Right? Nah. It's way overused and cliched, and it seems like such a dishonourable act towards our otherwise, perhaps a bit oiled, pristine reputation and image. So what do I want? I want to make the Spine break off from the Spine (okay, I'm contradicting myself now - you can say that we go rogue) and form a splinter-faction; a sort-of idealistic, utopian bunch of fanatics with one goal: Degrade society to anarchism, to allow Forsaken ranks to bolster and thenceforth establish total control. Will this happen? Nope! That's the brilliant part, as I don't exactly plan for us to suddenly assault WoW's blotched Lore in an alley, breaks its legs and position a mighty 'FORSAKENIFIED' stamp on the forehead of it. We're going to fail! Isn't that jolly? Srsbsns: You may have noticed that the Spine (nor the server for that matter) is not at its pinnacle at the moment. It's quite far down compared to the past. Sure, we can invigorate it with a recruitment spree, a server-wide project to promote ourselves and polish our image, but lets be honest - the Spine is what, three years old now, and built on a guild with very similar characteristics, the Apothecarium, which makes the community about five years old. That is ancient by WoW guild standards, and it's very long for a rather narrow path for a guild to take. Tl;dr, the concept is becoming old, and we need to let go. According to me. There you go, that's what I came up with, why we are doing it and what I think of it. Now, how do we do this? Following the event we had on Saturday, things aren't looking so good for the Spine. The Queen doesn't like us following a rogue report from a conspiratorial Galen Trollbane, so we are KOS. It gets worse with the next events, though (will be updated) Following this, we will leave with as much loot as possible, establish an outpost, and go Dark Eldar/Viking - we will travel from place to place with one doctrine - Reduce the world to ataxia to allow the Forsaken to seize the upper hand. This will be done by doing unimaginable horrors and generally being a huge thorn in the side of the world - raiding villages, poisoning wildlife, blighting Orgrimmar, and so on. Details have yet to be confirmed, the following has been suggested: - We wear the Felcloth Hood to identify ourselves. - We reside in either Deadwind Pass (the mythical 'Crypt'), Ahn'qiraj, Feralas or another place (Suggest in this thread). - We do not involve D&T unless they ask to join. | Dammit, Marw! I had plans too! Dammit all. As soon as I get my new cards and everything I might rejoin the evilness with an eviler, somewhat braver and more burned LĂ©oven. If it's cool. Besides, I want to play priest again.
But the Sha'tar needs, no wait... the Sha'tar NEEDS an evil guild. A big one at that.

THINGS TO CONSIDER: - New tabard? I've updated the poll - post suggestions please. - New ranks? If so, what? (updated poll to reflect that as well) - Evil stuff to do.

| I'd like to make a tabard matching to the new outfit that's incoming, we can decide together upon that one. About the new ranks, then we can try to eliminate most of them to make us as equal as possible, because in the end of the day, we're all in the same shit, maybe put someone calling the shots around though. | |

| Since you people didn't suggest anything at all, here's my own. I like what Manny said, and I think this suits our sudden 'red' theme quite well. Tell me what you think. As for ranks, I was thinking a two-tier hierarchy: One to represent, the rest to... Be the rest. Since we're not really in the shape of forming a complex pyramid of command, I was just thinking that it should be I who, since I've done so up to now, represent the Spine, and specialised ranks then made depending on your 'expertise'. These are the names I came up with: Harbinger v Aggressor + Custodian(or Deacon, couldn't decide) + Augur (Warrior) + (Guard/Warden) + (Spellcaster) | |

| Like the tabard, since it's the color I told you about anyways. And still think we should dismiss ranks. Or, as you said, have one. Wouldn't know which one, though. |

| Righto fellas. I'll need your help on 5th with event. Overall: at the same time as Emelee blew up in the Horde's faces in Thunder Bluff, a ward was installed in Cleft of Shadows in Orgrimmar. This thing will spawn shadowfiends during the nights, which will then faff around attacking people. Blah blah, on 5th I'll have a bunch of people (whoever the hell wants to join) to go and disable that thing. Wtf do I need from you? I need you to play a npc for a bit. As soon, as people got information off your npc, you can join the rest (so it'd be smart to use your non-UD/Spine affiliated character), maybe get injured/killed by the last spawned swarm (up to ye). I'll give your information, that can be gained from your npc, the way you RP it out is completely up to you, to make it bit more, living so to say. In other words - let me know if you're up for it, I'll instruct you on the matter. |

| Alright. Reminders of who and what your roles are.
Rundok, portal trainer - Manners (green): This was the Friday when Thunder Bluff got attacked.
1) He saw a woman in red, presumably Forsaken due to the stench and posture, who visited the reagent's vendor tent and seemingly went to RFC (he didn't look if she actually went in there, since he was busy) 2) He saw her again later, conversing with one of the rogues, after which she left, using the portal, paying him. 3) He's very excited with his received payment, since it's "A LOT OF GOLD". 4) If inquired to see the mentioned gold, he'll hold out a round flat stone. If magic users decide to 'inspect' him for magical influence, there's some mind bending applied. If magic users decide to 'inspect' him for magical influence, there's some mind bending applied.
Hagrus, reagent vendor - Marf (purple) : This was the Friday when Thunder Bluff got attacked. 1) Had a client, Forsaken woman with crimson hair and glyphed obsidium mask covering her face. 2) The client purchased a few rune stones and a pouch of arcane powder. 3) She left towards Neeru Fireblade's old tent afterwards. 4) He was paid with gold, if inquired to show this gold, he'll hold out two flat round stones. If magic users decide to 'inspect' him for magical influence, there's some mind bending applied.
Doras, flightmaster - Torge (blue): 1) Did not have any unusual/suspicious arrivals. 2) Did not see a person, that heroes might describe (Forsaken woman in red).
Frezza, zeppelin master - myself (orange) : 1) Did not have any unusual/suspicious arrivals. 2) Did not see a person, that heroes might describe (Forsaken woman in red).
Orgrimmar grunts by the gates - Sinku (red): This was the Friday when Thunder Bluff got attacked. 1) Had a few people entering through the gate, including Forsaken female clad in red, whom he stopped. 2) Upon inspection of her documents, it was revealed, that she was a Convocation's magus and he let her go. If any CoE members present, they'll figure out documents were forged. 3) He saw her leave towards the Blacksmiths.
Rogg, Blacksmith - Josephus (yellow): This was the Friday when Thunder Bluff got attacked.
1) Had a client, Forsaken woman clad in red, face hidden with a crimson cowl, spoke in low, wheezing voice. 2) The client had him make golden rod, which seemed unusual size to be used by enchanters (two full palms). 3) He saw her leave Valley of Honor afterwards, towards the Drag. 4) Woman paid him genereously with gold coins. If inquired to show the money paid, he'll show a pouch full of flat round stones. If magic users decide to 'inspect' him for magical influence, there's some mind bending applied.
Some tips for you: 1) Do not tell them all information straight away. Try to make them ask specific questions, engage them into conversation. 2) If you use TRP, use npc dialogues, if you're comfortable with those. If you do not, use /s [npc name] and /e | Npcname action. 3) Try to confuse them a bit, too, so they don't have clear IC answers. Like, they ask (example!) for blue pigeon, you start yapping about white pigeon. So they have to correct you and press on the detail, that pigeon was blue, y'know?
's all. If you have questions, ask me now. I will have npcs raid marked (accordingly to the color I stated by your npc), so you know which one is yours. |

| That's a good question, I am however unable to answer it. I have planned to go with the flow as they say.
I have decided to be cool with any possible outcome. Death is most expected I suppose so I will fill out that answer. But everything else may or may not happen instead of the RP leads in that direction.

| Donovan will escape when it's certain that the Spine is doomed and his collegues dead; a fate he expects with no remorse. Not to be free though, as he will go to a certain place where he will meet an old friend, and after he explains himself for a bit, he unmakes himself, a moment that he's been expecting. | |
