Nightdragon's Book of Recipes

One of the tables in the Brill's labs has a carefully crafted book on it. The book's cover is made out of tanned leather and inscribed with golden ink, saying "The Book of Recipes, made by C. Nightdragon".

As you open it, the first page says something about the recipes belonging only to the Apothecaries on the Spine and all use of them is forbidden for the outsiders. The feeling of magic radiates from the letters - knowing, that Nightdragon is a scribe, you understand, that probably noone else could open the book, but those mentioned.

Starting from the second page, book actually starts to contain the recipes.


Unconsciousness' brew

Ingredients:
2 vials of water (in one)
1 spoon of gossamer dust
2 medium sized dreamfoil
10 young fadeleaves
3 drops of mana thisle oil
2 drops of nightmare vein concentrate

Instructions:
Set the water to boil, add the gossamer dust as the water gets warmer. Crush dreamfoil and fadeleaf, add to the boiling water, leave it on fire for five minutes, remove the mix from fire and let it cool off in a dark cold place for three days.
In three days add mana thisle oil and nightmare vein concentrate, leave in dark place for two more days.

Description:

Colour: swamp green, golden sparks in it
Taste: bitter with slight flavour of mana thisle
Scent: rotting dreamfoil
Gas colour: fade green

Effects:
Temporarily places the test-subject into state of unconsciousness, no harm to the body is done.

The Nightmare, edition 2

Ingredients:
4 well grown nightdragon's blooms
3 spoons of jade crystal's powder
2 spoons of felweed oil
1 vial of water

Instructions:
Boil the water with added nightdragon's blooms, untill the maws of the blooms will open up. Add the jade crystal's powder, mix till the brew takes purple glowing green colour. Add felweed oil, place into dark cold place for two days.

Colour: glowing green with black flakes
Taste: Bitter
Scent: Felweed oil
Gas colour: Black

Effects:
Hallucination potion - once used in any substance on the test-subject, it sets off the darkest and deepest fears of the subject, horrifying it and placing in the state of hysteria.

The Sting

Ingredients (5 flasks, size 2):

12 spoons of crushed Firebloom
7 scorpid stings
3 black adder's tails
15 blossoms of Talandra's rose
1 small cauldron of water

Instructions:

Add Talandra's rose into boiling water, let it boil for two minutes, lower the fire to medium. Add scorpid stings and adders' tails, stir clockwise until brew takes azure colour. Add firebloom, leave the brew on low fire for half an hour, until it takes deep red colour.

Liquid Colour: crimson
Scent: burned scales
Taste: bitter
Gas colour: crimson

Effects:

Heavily damages nervous system of any living creature, affecting it rapidly, until destroying it completely. Depending on the dose and size of the creature, effect takes from five till twenty minutes to complete. Best applied on weapons.
