"Don't you fools understand, there is absolutely NO cure for undeath! Dead corpses cannot be returned back into healthy, living ones! D'oh!"

*sage nod*

It's not that I didn't think it through, after all the storyline has been running for around a month now (I've had MORE than enough time). But rather, everything I think of doesn't quite fit. If it -does- have some kind of cure, obviously that cure will have to eventually fail anyway (and why would we want to try it out). And if it -doesn't- then what is it? Have we completely wasted our time on it? Or..? *shrug* It's tricky, keep thinking!

It's a cure.

It's a -possible- cure.

It's the -only- possible cure.

And Sylvie wants it destroyed.

I feel the most important thing is that the book cannot have been a waste of time, yet.
I have two ideas for what the book could contain-
1) It could contain a selection of recipes and we choose the one which we feel will be the cure and work on a series of events and gathering tasks to collect all of the reagants etc.

2) It could be a journal of a warlock who sought a cure for Undeath and we must go on a journey and follow his footsteps as he has enchanted the book so that each subsequent chapter can only be read at the location where the last chapter was written. That sounds confusing so below I will have a diagram:

Chapter 1 - Can be read anywhere -- Leads to Tarren Mill
Chapter 2 - Leads to Arathi Highlands -- Can only be read at Tarren Mill
Chapter 3 - Leads to Dun Morough -- Can only be read at Arathi Highlands

Along the way we can follow breadcrumbs, find evidence of this warlocks presence, perhaps in the end actually find him and confront him on this cure.

I will write more ideas as they come.

I've told Geri already, and I think the idea is GENIUS (the second one). Adding to it, I think -maybe- some more exotic locations (although places closer to home might make a nice change... But wouldn't people have heard of him?), Felwood/Ashenvale (again!) for the nostalgia? Finally, "confronting" the Warlock could allow us to combine the quest with Hain's idea, i.e. we need to find him to kill him (although we could see some characters conflict with this, and genuinely want to see if there's a cure!) Lovely plan, will get to work on it soooon!
