  • Organisations:

    • “We breathe to live. We stand united to survive. We exist.
Arc Angel stands proud now, and forever to come. We will never bow down to anything. As long as our hearts beat, we will fight, fight for freedom, for survival, and for the right to exist! We will never bow down!”
The Arc Angel is a condensed group of former elite soldiers and hitmen alike from all over the world that cling to squatter settlements and the outskirts of larger cities. Rarely seen, though always welcomed with open arms, they are the exterminators of religious cults, mutants and the infected, and they do so with pride, extreme precision and skill, and utter efficiency. A little more than a family, the Arc Angel operatives (as they refer to themselves as) are known for zealous ties to each other, for logical reasons – it is very hard to find born killers in a world where survival is the first priority every day. But even so, they sometimes recruit the best men from survivor settlements, in return giving the camp either high-tech equipment such as new guns, radio equipment, advanced first aid kits, or exchanging favours – simply, if a particular dark time passes over the settlement, they can call the Arc Angel to assist them. Unfortunately, due to the elusive nature of the minuscule organisation, they hardly ever reach the establishment in time.

    • Shadows hide from their gaze. Nothing escapes them, nothing survives them.
They are the harbingers of death and destruction, and that is all they leave in their wake – all of the glory of their hedonistic Doom.
Spawned from the darkest depths of occultism, the Sons of the Apocalypse have been wreaking havoc and spreading unspeakable horror wherever they go.
They are organised strictly in a branching tree – one bishop, three priests, a number of confessors and a myriad of followers. They are surprisingly large in numbers, despite being such a malefic organisation hell-bent on summoning God by making the world succumb to darkness, thus provoking the Second Coming.
It is strongly suggested that their followers are either avoided if in large numbers, or if they are on their own – killed.
If, however, you hear the chant “Tenebris pervenitur. In sanguine oramus. In lucem transcendit” it is strongly advised that you leave or hide at once.

    • Obedience. Discipline. Submission.
Those are the three most spoken words by the Fourth Reich.
Brutally efficient in acquiring land, these socialist stop for nothing – be it borders, mercy or ethics, they march.
They are always highly distinctive from the average survivor, because they follow a strict uniform, which strongly resembles that used by the Third Reich in WWII, with the only difference being their symbol – a five-legged swastika, as opposed to their usual four-legged variant.
Generally speaking, they are shunned in conversations because they are massively feared. The reason that they are so strong in presence, is because they take villages, sometimes entire cities for their own, which means that their soldiers are always well-fed and stocked with weapons.
As a natural result, they are hugely feared, as they will shoot anyone they dislike, even if they wear a certain type of clothing, on sight.
Geographically, they are most prominent in the Western parts of Germany, and their self-proclaimed stronghold resides in Hamburg. There have been dire speculations that they are planning to take Berlin, because it holds so many undiscovered resources. These are just rumours, however, and none of the uniformed monsters have been spotted anywhere near Berlin.

    • "Resist them, brothers and sisters! The harshness of our lands and the desolation of our bodies does not halt is; it is the squabbling 'survivors'! They do not know what suffering that we have been through! Resist their temptations, do not bow down to their false promises of hope and freedom! Join your Comrades in Blood, follow me to a united victory, for the vigour and survival of the mutants worldwide!"
That was the short-lasting speech of Sergei Tessel, or "the Sigil" as he calls himself, the leader of the Comrades of the Blood; a militant band of mutants taking what they want in scrap-metal raiding buggies and whatever they can come across. Due to the hardy nature of the mutants, they do not need as much nutrition as the 'normal' humans. On the other hand, they usually have the intellect of a brick, albeit a brick with an AK. Hence, they are almost always shunned from human settlements, which only fuels their hate, with disastrous results.

    • Harley Davidson, leather jackets, guns and heroin. The four most important aspect of the Blood Runners, a small, migrating group of vandals and former rocker-band members. Always cruising down abandoned streets dangerously quickly, stealing, raping and killing anything they see fit, one would think that they wouldn't be so effective in the zombie-infested streets of Berlin. Unfortunately, they are - they are efficient enough to raid a large mall in less than fifteen minutes, and quick enough on their motor bikes to escape any threats. Usually preying on sole survivors or small groups, they are merciless and brutal, killing those that are not willing to hand hand over their valuables. They take everything: clothing, ammunition, food, jewelry.

    • "Don't get in their way!" is probably the wisest and most often said thing about the Black Feather. Not much is known about this group, only that they follow an isolated, emotionless way of life - silently scurrying through ruins, avoiding all contact spare that between themselves. However, if one does present himself as a pest or threat, there isn't much to do but lie down and accept his fate - same goes for settlements. They don't stop if you get in their way.
Oddly enough, they don't usually wear practical armor - always black, and the style looks like something pulled out of a 18th century movie; wide-brimmed, dark hat with a distinctive raven's feather in the brim.
It is as though they value their clothing more than their weapons, but that's not to say that they are not well equipped - always with top-spec, sometimes prototypical weaponry and gadgets that can easily send a geek drooling for more.
