Sludge Fields.
The heavily guarded construction in the Hillsbrad Foothills. Two units (10 heads in each) of the guards are present on the place and one unit of snipers are in the guard towers. All guards are wearing matt black uniform (plate, chainmail mostly) with two crossed silver arrows on the shoulderpads.
Main building has three floors.
First one with the actual equipment and laboratorium tables, shelves with ingredients and chests with different materials.
Second is a testing area, with subjects – living humanoids, animals – surgery tables and such.
Third floor is starting and ending right by the staircase from the second floor – going up the stairs, you end up infront of the massive door, that seems to be heavy, as much, as it's big – metal cover, runic frame. Behind the door is the Mirror Room (see Project: Soothsayer).
Outside of the main building the area is broken into four major parts. If you have the main building's entrance right behind you – starting from left to right, parts :
First one, far left, with small harvest wagons, is area for tests on recreation of Ashen Rose project.
Second, above the first, is a training ground – it has different training targets, dummies and tents for trainees to stay at. Area is mostly occupied by the local guard force (See Project: Dark Command).
Third one, right infront of the main building, is a free area, given to junior Apothecaries and others to improve their skills, study and test in open field.
Fourth one, closest to the main Hillsbrad road, is under Darkcast's patronising – he's working on his own projects there ( see Project: F.A.K.S).
Project: Soothsayer
The room behind the runed door on the 3rd floor in main building is about twelve yards in diameter and is shaped like a dome. Walls and ceiling are covered with mirror-like glass, that radiates with magical aura. The mirrors are created to act like original Shards, with some improvements.
The Mirror Room is a connection between new model of Shards and F.A.K.S, operated by assigned Soothsayer.
Mirror Room allows the information from F.A.K.S to be transferred to the new Shards immediately, with no static or loss of details.
New model of Shards has not yet been employed by the members of the Spine.
New model of Master Shard has been assigned to few people, for testing.
