Already been within the guild for a month or so, but I felt it was appropriate to write this anyway!

How long (approximately) have you been playing World of Warcraft?
Started at valentines day 2006, so 5 years, this was before Azeroth had rain or snow!

How confident would you say you are with the English language?
I am confident with nomatter what I do!
But I am well aware of my imperfections in grammar and spelling.

What experience do you have with roleplaying in the past?
Started looking into RP when I was 14 during chats with the D&D system, later started to (badly) RP in WoW, then went on to NeverWinter Nights which I see as my RP training and later went back to WoW again.
RPd good guys, bad guys, smart guys, dumb guys, old men, young boys, women, all powerfull and incredibly weak.
So I'd say I have some experience, however I don't LARP and I don't think I ever will.

What experience do you have within the World of Warcraft?
As I stated above, it's been 5 years, I've killed every boss out there except for the newest ones as the guild I raid with currently isn't really the world's best in progression..
Though WOTLK raiding was easy, I did really enjoy killing things despite being in a cassual raiding group.
My all time faverite raid has to be Ulduar with Yogg-Saron being my faverite boss.
I also quite like the Black Temple despite my ussual dislike for sci-fi, it felt really nicely done.

I have PvPd quite a bit too, from day long AVs back in vanilla to Arena fights lasting seconds against double shadowmourn teams.

As for RP, I was a commander within the original Essence during TBC, these were great times with great RP, it's what fueled my passion for dark RP.
I later went on leading my own Bloodsail Elite guild, did this for a while but I lost interest after a year or so due to being the only one within the guild ever trying to organise anything and mixed with ooc whispers from strangers about some of my member's behavior behind my back.

I later tried again, it went fine for a while but I just didn't feel the passion for pirate RP that I once had so I let it slowly die out untill it became what it is today with only 4 active members who rarely, but sometimes have some cassual RP

If you were to join the guild, what would you bring to the strong OOC community the guild shares?
A harsh honousty, I am not afraid to voice my opinion.
I have a low to mid fantasy mindset so I am quickly displeased with non playable races and sometimes classes aswell, I don't believe in making exceptions because someone plays it well.
I understand my opinion isn't always the most wanted but I think it's required in guilds, expecialy bigger ones to make sure things don't get too far out of hand.

If you were to join the guild, how often would you be able to play?
It depends so much on so many things but I'd say 5 evenings a week, during the day aswell during the weekend.

If you were to join the guild what would be your priority when online?
I'll be honest, I also raid in this game and pvp aswell.
Raiding comes with set times and ''appointments'' and I won't cancel going to raids last second for an RP event, as too many people depend on me.
But my main reason to join this guild was RP so my main priority outside of my scedueled raids will be the RP.

Why do you wish to join the guild?
I've been wanting to join since the first original guild but I never had a character for it but now I have Josephus and I can finaly delight into the Forsaken RP!

CHARACTER INFORMATION

Name: Josephus Darkwood

Gender: Male

Current Occupation: Informative for Admiral Quincy and Deathstalker for The Spine

Age: 27 when he died and only a few months old as a Forsaken, he is part of the NUB.

Race: Undead Human

Level: Was around 15 or whatever the minimum level was when I joined, am hitting 85 any day now.

In-game Class & Spec': Hunter MM/Surv
IC Class: Hunter, nothing fancy.

Hair Colour: Dusty/dead blonde
Eye Colour: As seen in game
Height: 5.9

Of the three Forsaken factions the guild represents: The Royal Apothecary Society, The Deathguard and The Deathstalkers. Which do you feel your character would fit in with best and why?
Deathstalkers, he can track (although not the best at it), he's fast, agile and knows how to blend into the scene.

How does your character feel about the place of the Forsaken in the Horde? And how does he/she react to other races within the Horde?
It's a necessity, nothing more.
He does not feel any particular love or hatred for the races but he can tell we do not fit in with the living, whatever their race may be.
Honour means little to nothing to him and therefor fails to understand most of the tribal horde.
Beauty has passed and is of no importance nor does he care for magic and therefor he feels nothing for the Sin'dorei
Greed and material possesions are a waste of time and space and therefor he doesn't feel anything for the goblins either.
Besides, they all can feel, smell and love; We don't fit in but we need them as they need us for practical reasons, nothing more, nothing less.

How does your character feel about the Wrathgate incident?
He was not around at the time so he only knows it from stories.
It seems crazy a brilliant Forsaken such as Putricide would betray his own people like that!
We all work towards the same goal so jumping out of the wagon like that was a stupid mistake.
Besides, going against superiors has always been something Josephus stood against, loyalty before anything.

Family:
Father was a carpenter(specialised in darker wood), mother a housewife and sister a priestess to be but he is unaware what happened to them once he went to sea at an early age.
His sister, Eliza had died and became a Forsaken but went M.I.A in Icecrown.

Character History:
He led a boring life and was ment to become a carpenter, just like his father.
He wasn't too bad at it either, but he wanted more.
Once he came of age he left his family in search of adventure and he eventually found the Bloodsails.
He worked for them for some years and go to the rank of second mate before he died during the battle for booty bay not long after Deathwing woke up.
It was Admiral Quincy he was semi-responsible for his death and it was him aswell who brought his corpse to the Val'kyr in Deathknell during the mass ressurection times.

Upon awakening he could not remember the last minutes of his life and Admiral Quincy was remembered as an impressive pirate and the only undead he even sort-of knew.
So he searched for the Admiral to join his crew but once found he was told to work as an informant in the Spine instead.
He got in and with each passing day he feels more at home with The Spine then he did as a pirate...

Why does your character want to join the guild?
To inform Admiral Quincy about their moves.
When asked ICly he would say it was to aid the Forsaken, his new race, his new and only family.

What skill set could your character bring to the guild?
The standard hunter skill-set with knowledge of the seas and sailing in general and a small ammount of carpenter skills aswell.

How does your character respond to authority?
Life on the sea is dangerous, if you do not do as an older, more experienced sailer tells you it can result in the death of the whole crew.
This caused him to -always- listen to authority and he kept this after death.

TEST OF ABILITY

i) The Forsaken are evil. There are no good Forsaken.

This is of course nonsense.
There have been several cases in the lore where Forsaken have fought for good, there's even one of us within the Argent Dawn!
However, these are the exceptions.
I do believe that the Forsaken have a natural affinity to the darker side of life.
We've been through death and now we rot, we do not taste or feel and everywhere around us are creatures that still have those pleasures of life, constantly are we reminded of how things were and what we now lack.

To not be bitter about this is quite a rare feature indeed.
Besides, our new abilities are only good for one thing and that's battle.
Our lack of hunger, thirst and need to excrete means we can wait for days or even weeks in the dirt to ambush our oponents.
Our lack of feeling means we will not shy away from a blade being pointed at us, we can take it, but they cannot.
With all these combined it's just really easy to become violent.

Also what if tommorow you wake up with nothing, absolutely nothing, no job, school, diplomas, house or anything, what do you do?
You rebuild a life, you make goals for yourself.
But we're dead, what is money when you cannot taste the fine food or whines?
Why buy a large comfortable bed when you don't sleep?
You need a purpouse, a reason to go on, so fighting for your country, especialy in a world such as Azeroth makes sense.

And what about the newer ones?
So many of the current Forsaken are already evil, all you hear and see about your new race is evil.
You know you're part of them, and they act like that.. perhaps.. you should too?

Ever heard of a theory called; ''self fulfilling prophecy''?
Everybody tells you that you're evil, everyone tells you that you're the same as the Scourge, that you eat brains and flesh.
When you hear this enough you start to think to yourself... What if they're right?
Slowly you'll become what the world keeps calling you and with how the world views us Forsaken it's not surprising that we become evil, if we werent so already.

Last but not least;
What is evil?
Who's eyes should we look through?
Of course humans think we're evil when we kill and ressurect them but we need the numbers in our army in order to not die out, in order to not be outnumbered too much and get killed off.
Some of us do not see the unlife as a curse, but rather a blessing because functionality wise we're far more efficient than the living, so we're merely spreading the gift for their own good!

And that concludes my opinion on the allignment of the Forsaken

I'd copy paste the silly picture or even photoshop it by replacing Geri with Joseph but I am at work right now so I lack the ability to do so.

cheers
G.R.E.A.T
