The Logistical Meeting of the Doomhammer Initiative proceeded as follows:
TIMEFRAME:
- It was agreed that Stromgarde would be besieged by the end of the month, that is to say - that by the eighth month of this year, the Forsaken enclose the Alliance in the city having received aid from the Doomhammer.
- It was concluded that while guerilla resistance may well continue in the region (inspired by Worgen activities in Silverpine) this would not prove an obstacle to besieging the city and serious underground warfare would be difficult to conduct in the open terrain of Arathi.
- With the presentation of two pieces of evidence: i. A missive from Menethil intercepted by Deathstalkers. ii. A recording of a tortured Arathorian soldier confessing. It was deduced that the Alliance would reach Arathi by the 22nd of this month, and the Horde must be in place to meet them.
SUPPLIES:
- Transfering supplies by land from Galen's Fall to Hammerfall was dismissed an impossibility. Zeppelins were initially offered as a form of transportation, but it transpired that the Famiglia representative could only provide paper Zepellins.
- It was therefore decided that supplies for Hammerfall would be taken by Wyvern and Bat. 10 Wyvern are stationed at Hammerfall, and 20 Bats can be found in Tarren Mill. A supply caravan would carry supplies continuously from Tarren Mill to Galen's Fall and from there they could be flown on to Hammerfall - although the stockpile of the Defiler's should suffice for some time.
- Finally, Admiral Quincy proposed that he bring in a fresh stockpile of supplies by sea to Faldir's Cove, which would function as a reserve point for those fighting nearby. He should arrive at the Cove in time for the opening battles.
FINANCE:
- The total cost of the campaign up to the planned Siege of Stromgarde has been estimated at 12,000 gold pieces - Lordaeron currency. This cost is the total required to supply and rent: horses/mounts, spare weaponry/armour, food/drink, supporting Deathguard from Tarren Mill, 20 bats from Tarren Mill, wagons for transporting supplies, defences (including Goblin weaponry and iron palisades).
- Contributions to this cost shall be as follows: the Forsaken High Command - 5,000 gold. Grommash Hold -1,000g. The Spine - 500 gold. The Convocation of Elrendar - 500 gold. This left a shortfall of 4,500g.
- The Famiglia shall offer a loan of the remaining costs, 4,500 gold, on three conditions: i. The loan shall only be spent on the Arathi Advance. i. The Famiglia may claim all plunder from the campaign, principally that to be had after the fall of Stromgarde. iii. The Spine and the Forsaken High Command shall each pay back 42.5% of the loan over the next year.
The meeting then concluded.
